As an admission professional it's good to be reminded that...Misrepresentation can be considered substantial if the recipient could reasonably be expected to rely on its accuracy in making an enrollment decision. However, note that substantial misrepresentation can occur not just during the enrollment process, but in many areas including the academic realm.

Students attend your school in order to receive the education and hands-on training they need to help them obtain the jobs they want. And, regardless of your role or position, you are an integral part of the mission to help students develop the skills, knowledge and experience they need to realize their career objectives. Ohh this is so good!!

Really wonderful to be reminded of the diffrence...A representation can be any statement by any school representative (either verbally or in writing) to students, prospective students or the community at large.

Sometimes it gets overwhelming to consider all the hoops you have to jump through to get and remain accredited...but Accreditors’ primarily role, through a series of standards and resources, is to ensure that their member schools are offering the quality education and training needed for student success...and that's worth it.

Acharacteristic of a compliance culture is that the school is true to its mission. Most institutions have a mission statement to which they adhere and ours sticks to it like glue!!

This cours was a breathe of fresh air.  Learning new way to engage with my online students will make the learning more robust.  We have a unique situation...teaching acting online...but many of these concepts still translate.

One main challenge for educators who want to employ or design games to support learning involves making valid inferences—about what the learner knows, believes and can do—at any point in time, at various levels and without disrupting the flow of the game.

One of the barriers to incorporating games into the learning environment is the cost of the games. Instructors can overcome that barrier by creating their own games with free game development software.Going to have to look into this!!

Individualized instruction promotes involving learners in activities designed to meet their interests, needs and abilities. Activities can be individualized by varying the learning pace, the instructional objectives, the learning method and/or the learning materials.
