Projecting yourself in the online learning environment requires more thoughtful methods that can still come through in a virtual environment. Being engaging and interested in the students, and sharing my experience and are a couple of things that I can do to give the students the comfort to trust that I am giving them the very best education that I am capable of to make them successful in their jobs.

I learned that the more familiar I am with the material, processes and material, the more effective I can be for the students.

Group projects can be so valuable, as once students are in their field, they essentially will have group projects daily. Implementing roles is also commonly done in the industry, so I cold impart the real world benefits, even for students coming from different dynamics.

Using these five components of a lesson are a great structure to ensure consistency and consistency will ensure student success.

When imparting knowledge for adults it is important to give respect in speech as well as demeanor. Being thoughtful about body language, the type and patterns of speech we use can all have an impact in the success of the students. 

I found it somewhat comforting to know that I am not the only one that has concerns with limitations of time or scope of complexity of information when it comes to different learning styles. I feel that having more than one technique is critical to be able to reach students. I remember being a student and maybe not grasping a concept from instruction, then becoming competent in that concept and thinking "oh, why didn't they just say this..." I feel this will help me  to be able to connect with all the different types of learners.
