I'm the Director of Careeer Services at Fortis Institute.
My role in the graduate’s success is to develop relationships with students throughout the entirety of their education. Providing them with career readiness seminars, reviewing and giving feedback on their resume, participating in mock interviews, scheduling and following-up with them post-interviews. Driving placement outcomes and ensuring compliance with accreditation and state guidelines and standards. Conducting daily and weekly accountability meetings to review and monitor run rates, forecasts and daily activity. Develop and maintain relationships with employers for the purpose of placing graduates, create and development new extern sites to increase the extern - to - hire rate. Coordinate on-campus job fairs, attend outside job fairs, invite employers to speak in classrooms and arrange on-campus interviews. Participate in delivery and co-facilitation of Professional Development course, where appropriate. Complete graduate and employer surveys to ensure programs meet or exceed current job market and employer needs.
