About me

I've been a career educator for over 20 years. I currently serve as the Academic Coordinator for Brookstone College of Business and continue to be active in the classroom as a Business Instructor. My motto is "A student doesn't care how much you know, until they know how much you care." I was honored to receive the Career College Association National Teacher of the Year award in 2001. I just love teaching!

Hi Rebecca, Based on your experience what would you add to the list? Patricia
Hi Margaret, I concur. We have to do everything in our power as educators so that students understand for every choice there is a consequence, and they must learn how to take responsibility for their own actions because their boss is not going to want to hear any excuses... Patricia
Hi Kristin, I agree with you. I have observed that there are many more angry females than males. The angry females are real hard to deal with. I let them vent, and then I offer advice. Patricia
Hi Vicki, I also like to share with my students whenever graduates have landed positions to generate excitement. Patricia
