About me

I've been a career educator for over 20 years. I currently serve as the Academic Coordinator for Brookstone College of Business and continue to be active in the classroom as a Business Instructor. My motto is "A student doesn't care how much you know, until they know how much you care." I was honored to receive the Career College Association National Teacher of the Year award in 2001. I just love teaching!

Hi Bonnie, I have had dealings with students who were on medication, but they were not taking their medication which caused them to be very out of the ordinary to put it nicely. I called a family member to come pick the student up; the student should not have been driving under those conditions. Patricia

Hi Walter, Students need encouragement. It is always good to let students know on the first day that they can succeed in the class. I also like to tell them that the majority of the students get A's in the course, if this is the case. Patricia
