About me

I've been a career educator for over 20 years. I currently serve as the Academic Coordinator for Brookstone College of Business and continue to be active in the classroom as a Business Instructor. My motto is "A student doesn't care how much you know, until they know how much you care." I was honored to receive the Career College Association National Teacher of the Year award in 2001. I just love teaching!

FRATERNIZING WITH STUDENTS

Are you the type of instructor that will hang out with your students? I am not. I feel as though that the student/teacher relationship should be only professional in nature. An instructor can be having an innocent lunch with a student and this type of action can look very suspicious to others. Most institutions have a no Fraternizing Policy; however some personnel will ignore it. The bottom line is this type of behavior is unacceptable and very unprofessional.
