About me

I've been a career educator for over 20 years. I currently serve as the Academic Coordinator for Brookstone College of Business and continue to be active in the classroom as a Business Instructor. My motto is "A student doesn't care how much you know, until they know how much you care." I was honored to receive the Career College Association National Teacher of the Year award in 2001. I just love teaching!

Hi Jamilya, I concur! I am this type of instructor. I hardly ever have any disciplinary problems with my students because they know that I am very fair and a stickler for rules, policies, and procedures. Patricia Scales
Hi Kelly, I can tell you put forth great effort to do a fantastic job. Keep emulating these fine traits; you will win every time. Patricia Scales
Hi Maggie, I like the idea of ending the class period with a review, and how you tell your students to be good to themselves. Patricia Scales
Hi Dawn, I agree! Do whatever you would like to try to ease the fear of test/quiz taking. Patricia Scales
Hi Lynn, With today's software/webware it is so easy to sramble a test to have different versions. This is an excellent way to reduce cheating. Patricia Scales
