Strong partnerships are built by staying connected, checking in regularly, addressing concerns promptly and making employers feel valued for the time & opportunities they provide for the students. Professionalism & consistency is important in keeping  successful long term partnerships.

This module was about building strong relationship with employers and how essential for successful work based learning experiences. The importance building relationships where employers feel values and students receive meaningful opportunities.

This module taught the importance of preparing students before they ever step into a workplace experience. Employer pre engagement is preparation is more than just finding a placement, it includes helping students understand professionalism, communication skills and workplace behavior. 

This module showed the importance of accessing a career event and completing a follow up activities afterward. Gathering feed back from students and business partners will help identify strengths, areas  for improvement  and ways to make future events more effective.

The preparation of an event plays a major role in making event organized, professional and meaningful for everyone involved.  Expectations need to be set and explained ahead of time.

This module helped me better understand the importance of developing clear processes  and procedures to create consistency, organization and accountability in the workplace or learning environment.  This will help reduce confusion, improve communication and makes expectations easier for everyone to follow.

Managing risk is not just about avoiding accidents or legal issues, but about creating a safer and more professional environment overall.  I gained a better understanding of how policies, supervision, communication & proper documentation all playa role in protecting both individuals & organizations
