Quite a few successful Business Law instructors that I have worked with swear by case studies in a team setting. The students must apply the legal principles to real life examples and be able to explain their decisions in dealing with the case studies. Ah Tess- what a caring teacher you are! it seems so simple - in order to teach you have to connect - but sometimes that's the toughest thing for an instructor to master. Some say it has to come from an inner innate abilty but I believe we can learn how to make those connections. Thanks for your posting !

It is difficult when you have a lot of students. The best approach as an instructor would be to consistanlt try to address all of the styles as much as possible in your lessons. It really isn't difficult. For example, if you were teaching about anatomy you could have a PPT on the screen as you lectured and also some anatomical models of body parts to pass around.
