Hi Levi - Thanks for your post to the forum. I agree that it is really important to be able to change your assessment choices based on the different variables that you mention. Best wishes for continued success in your teaching career. Susan
Hi Kristi- Thanks for your post to the forum. You are wise to vary your assessment techniques as students often perform better with a specific type of assessment, so you will be better able to judge their knowledge/skill if you include as many types as possible over the duration of the class. Best wishes for continued success in your teaching career. Susan
Hi Randy - Thanks for your post to the forum. You mention something no one else has hit upon so far - using strategic seating in the classroom to benefit the learning styles - terrific idea! Best wishes for continued success in your teaching career. Susan

HI Melissa - That's an excellent way to stimulate participation. You could also ask students to respond John's post. "That was a great suggestion John! Has anyone tried anything like that?" Best wishes - Susan
Hi Melissa - Thanks for your post to the forum. I too experience the brief flurry of activity on the discussion boards as a module opens online. Then, as you mention, "Where is everyone?" , and then the deluge of responses on the due dates. Oh well...... Best wishes - Susan
Hi Warren- Thanks for your post to the forum. You are wise to review tests after each course, sometimes we are using different textbooks or we need to update material. It's a really good practice. Best wishes - Susan
