Hi Herve, Adults are just children that are taller. You are right about the stickers, candy, etc. They will work real hard to earn them. I really like the part where they remind you if you forget them. Good motivators. Gary
Hi Edward, Feedback is essential for student success. They need to know where they are in the course and the level of their success. By keeping them informed you will have more engagement from the students. Gary
Hi Steven, Listening to students is a key part of reflective teaching. This way as you mention you can make changes as they are needed to keep the students moving forward in the course. Gary
Hi Steven, Great way to keep current and continue to develop. This will help you to stay at the top of your game as an educator. Gary
Hi James, I think that is a great style since it is student centered which is what teaching is about. Gary
Hi James, Good point. I just have a mental image of students trying to put me out and that I am running around the classroom soaking wet yelling at the top of my lungs. Or that I will stop, drop and roll in front of the class and then they will wonder what is wrong with me. Sorry I just got off course there for a minute with the imaging thing. I know exactly what you mean and we need to keep in our minds the idea of the urgency of what we are doing as instructors. Gary
Hi Daniel, You are right about using such a method for learner feedback. The point about learning more that thought is a good one. They are surprised that they know and can do as much as they can. Gary
Hi Chanel, Student feedback is critical to instructor improvement. I survey my students on a regular basis throughout the course so I can make changes or modifications as needed to keep the students on course. Gary

Hi Herve, You are right about the important step of being prepared and ready to teach. We need to be excited about what we teach as well. All these things come together to create a positive learning environment. Gary
Hi Rachel, Right you are. It is amazing how some little thing related to the environment can set things off balance in relation to learning. Gary
