This module gave me a new way to look at gainful employment. I used to only consider the financial aspect, but it does make sense to also consider the fulfillment aspect. If a graduate feels fulfilled in their role and they are making enough money to have a good quality of life and repay their loans, that's a win-win. I will definitely consider this thought process when looking for career placement opportunities to share. It will make me ask the question most frequently, "Where do you want to work, and what type of position will make you feel like your education has helped you reach the next goal in your life?" Not only will these outcomes impact that individual student, but also our school, investors and higher education as a whole.
