1. Speed to Lead- follow up with leads quickly and be diligent about follow-ups. Alter call times until you find the best time to reach them. Often, several schools will be getting the same lead.
2. Avoid leaving numerous messages on their voicemail. We don't want to fill their voicemail box.
3. Keep great notes each time you talk with a prospective student. These are great resources when following up.
4. Never give up on a person. Sometimes the timing is not right. Make periodic touches to see how things are going.
5. Don't take the negatives of the job personal. People will hang up on you and cuss you out. Celebrate the small victories.
6. Never bad talk another school.
7. Always maintain the highest of ethical standards. An admission's rep should never lie or be deceiptful.
8. Learn as much as you can about your craft. Never stop learning.
9. Believe in what you do. The rewards are amazing.
