Hameed, Good question. From my perspective in qualitative research, it depends on the type of data you want to gather, A questionnaire is a survey, but an interview (even scripted) is not. If I were looking for data I wanted to analyze statistically, I would choose a survey. If I wanted rich description, in which I am looking deeper, I would choose an interview.
