From this module, I learned how important it is to set clear expectations and create a positive learning environment from the first day of class. Students need to understand the course goals, requirements, grading policies, and how the skills they learn will help them in their future careers.
I also learned that using icebreakers, group activities, and hands-on demonstrations can help students feel more comfortable and engaged.
I plan to apply what I learned by clearly explaining my course syllabus, setting expectations early, and using real-life examples and practical activities to keep students interested. My goal is to create a supportive classroom where students feel motivated, confident, and prepared for success in their careers.
