<p>Bringing excitement to learning a subject that may not be as interesting is always a challenge.&#160; I tend to tell a story of when I made a mistake and how I dealt with it when trying to make a connection with the subject and the importance of why it is important to us in our field.&#160; Take a serious situation and point out the WHY and HOW it came to be along with the understanding mistakes WILL happen to us all but comfort them in knowing in this class/lab is where we are practicing.&#160; Make mistakes now as to not make the same mistake in the field.&#160; Recognizing progress and giving encouragement the whole way.</p>
