Implementing the 'Wax on Wax off' strategy can be very effective in the classroom especially for students who lack certain learning skills. Introducing the basic/ new skills/ easier task that doesn't include much difficulty provides comfortability, confidence to move to the next level. Clear instructions are also very important in order to achieve goals for students and allowing them to perform the tasks multiple times enable students to master the concepts and skills, build their self-esteem to move on to more difficult learning skills. This strategy will be very instrumental in teaching math concepts. A large segment of the student population has a fear for math, but this strategy I believe will encourage students to demonstrate a likeness for math. In addition, providing feedback as they move from one task to the next encourages perseverance and support especially when students are faced with complex challenges. This strategy is nor new but using the metaphorical example 'wax on wax off I believe will play a pivotal role in encouraging students to embrace math in general.
