This reminds me that developing as an instructor is an ongoing process. All of our students learn in different ways, so it is important for me to be able to adapt my teaching style as needed. I always want to create a learning environment that feels welcoming where they can come and ask me questions and they never feel like it is a bother or I am too busy. I plan on applying what I learned by continuing to look for new ways to engage with my students, give kind constructive feedback, and be able to self-reflect on what works and what I need to work on. I want them to build the confidence they need to be successful at their amazing new career!
