What I took away from this module is that adaptive learning is really about meeting students where they are instead of trying to force everyone through the same path. It made me think more about how I use data from student work to actually adjust instruction in real time, not just grade it and move on. I also like that it shifts my role more into a facilitator, where I’m guiding and supporting instead of just delivering content. In my classroom, I plan to be more intentional about using tools like Code.org and other platforms to create different pathways for students based on their progress, so they can get support where they need it but still be challenged. Overall, I want to move away from one-size-fits-all and focus more on flexibility while still making sure students are meeting the standards.
