From this module, I learned how important it is to intentionally get to know students at the start of a course through icebreakers, information sheets, and conversations that help build a full picture of their backgrounds and experiences. I also learned the value of sharing a bit about myself to create connection and trust. Moving forward, I plan to use pretests and early check-ins to better understand what students already know so I can plan lessons that meet them where they are. By considering class length, pacing, and student readiness, I can adjust instruction to support both advanced and struggling learners, creating a more balanced and effective learning environment
