Hi William: Many times, the vocation instructor is the only teacher the student will be exposed to. Sort of like the one room school of yesteryear, we have to wear many hats to get students job ready. Teachnical skills and knowledge related to the profession is one thing, but so is professionalism, dress, speech and communication skills, behavior - all the soft skills that although the student may possess job skills, fail in the category of working in the real world.
