Common Instructor Mistakes

I have to say remebering students names happen to be the most difficult especially when I'm getting flooded with questions. I try to address that by putting students in groups and then give names to each groups and it helps me to at least link their name to the group names.

One thing that I have found helpful is to have assigned seating for the students, and for the first week, I have them make a name placard out of plain printer paper and place it in front of themselves at their desk. This helps me to establish a link between face and name when I am calling on them in the class.

Hi Richard,
Great ways to help with name memorization. Students love hearing the sweet sound of their name!
