Cheating Student
How do you acknowledge a student that is cheating during an exam without disrupting the class?
I simply note it and let them finish the exam. When they receive a zero on their grade, they usually come ask why and I explain what I observed. The times i've done this the student usually laughs in guilt.

If i see this going on i will talk to the student. If this takes place again i will change the seat of student.

I tend to try to get their attention and ask to speak with them privately. At other times, I have allowed the student to complete their exam and then tell them that I observed them cheat. In most cases the student was apologetic and did not try to deny cheating.

Calmly and quietly remove the student from the class. Direct the student to go to the Dean's office so that you do not have to leave your class unattended. At times, you may have to disrupt the class, but do so as quickly and calmly as possible. How have you handled the situation?
