A rubric is a scoring guide used to evaluate performance, a product, or a project.

Rubrics may not fully convey all information instructor wants students to know. 

Rubrics are typically used to score student performance on defined criteria and levels of quality, or intellectual or skills development.

A well-developed set of Critical Thinking skills builds self-empowerment and confidence. It enables you to efficiently gather knowledge, quickly process information, and intelligently analyze data.

Active learning also helps widen their perspectives by bouncing off one another's opinions as they work in groups.

Strong instructor presence has been shown to increase student engagement and academic achievement by helping students feel as though they are part of a learning community with shared goals and values.

Active learning is an approach to instruction that involves actively engaging students with the course material through discussions, problem-solving, case studies, role plays, and other methods.

Good communication skills are essential to allow others and yourself to understand information more accurately and quickly. In contrast, poor communication skills lead to frequent misunderstandings and frustration.

Interviewing is an important step in the employee selection process. If done effectively, the interview enables the employer to determine if an applicant's skills, experience, and personality meet the job's requirements.
