Although online learning offers flexibility, I think one challenge that isn't always discussed is the technology barrier.

Rubrics are a great tool so students have an outline of specific criteria and performance levels for an assignment. 

Understanding the different technology that's available and utilizing those that students will be able to adapt to. 

Feedback should always be informative on how students can improve.

Making sure the syllabus is complete and clear on what expectations to meet. 

Having everything laid out so students can understand and adapt to the online learning. 

Communication is key whether verbal or written. 

I enjoyed the tips it shared about the discussion board and getting students to understand the important ways of responding in a discussion board. 

I learned that you should survey the class for their opinion to see what is and what is not working. 

This module has given me better sight on learning and teaching students social and motivational encouragment. It makes me rethink how I encourage and motivate students and where improvment is needed.
