Great point Denzil. Can you give us examples of how students gained promotion or job advancement as a result of training? And also the types of projects they completed and generally how it benefitted their companies. Many individuals enrolled in this continuing education course offer less than degree programs. But partnering can be applicable to them all. These schools also must comply with regulatory bodies that are interested in placement numbers. It's great when success is more of a factor than a number. Thanks for your comments. Susan
Hi Fiona and Suzanne Please share with all of us. Tell us what works and doesn't work. How would like to see it designed more effectively. What information does it collect and provide? Thanks, Susan
Hi Jan Great points about the importance of finding and keeping great staff and enabling them to contribute fully to your organization. Often small schools do require staff to wear too many hats. This is especially detrimental when the person responsible for admissions has to do too many other jobs. Your point about keeping staff happy and productive is great. Happy employees tend to provide better customer service. And happy customers (students) tend to stay, pay, and graduate. Best wishes Susan
Hi Jan Really a great example of student academic and social integration into school. The more a student is involved with the school, with others, and has a feeling of satisfaction, the more likely s/he will stay and graduate. Of course clinic experience adds to a person's resume and gives them a feeling of the real world of work. This makes the transition from school to work sucessful. Great comments. Susan

Hi Julio You seem to have discovered that when you put plans in place and evaluate them you learn a lot. I'm not sure you put your plans in order. But it seems that the 3-5 year plan might best be first. PArt of that will include your marketing plans along with budget. Profiling your prospects is part of marketing. A plan does keep you focused and helps you make informed changes. Best wishes Susan
Hi Linda Very well stated. Advisory Boards offer many opportunities. Chosen well, the school has a source for free and valuable advice. Members can serve many roles such as curriculum evaluation, mentoring, presentations, job openings, new enrollments, scholarship providers, and more. Whether required or not, every school benefits from an advisory board. Best wishes Susan

Hi Linda Great point. Growth is implicit in every organization. And growth requires dreaming, planning, implementing, measuring. Should be the mind set of everyone in the school-- how to make it a million dollar school and the part that each employee plays in that. Best wishes
Really great points, Alessandra Partnering with others is a way to expand your opportunities and network. It's great to have a variety of resources for placement. Each student has different needs. Sounds like your plan allows for them to pick the best strategy for them. You're right - all schools should look for multiple resources for placement assistance in their communities. Best wishes Susan

Great Alessandra As you look to income generation you might look at where you can generate multiple streams of income. This can be from program tuition, continuing ed tuition, sales of products, etc. Best wishes Susan

Hi Frank Great ideas. The IEP also needs to be implemented on a regular basis. When you establish the profile of your ideal student it would be good to use the info in admissions. Also compare to your leads. Are the leads different and if yes, what does that tell you? Great idea to focus on faculty development. They are sometimes the only people the students interact with and are the face of the school. They have to be good. Best wishes Susan
