It is not easy to transition from traditional to active learning methods.  I like the idea and I know active learning is more productive.  There is a lot of learning to be done for instructors to become coaches.  There will not be enough time to cover all topics.

Soft skills make you empowered to empower others.

Soft skills are more effective and pave the way to instill hard skills into students

Hi.  Asking open ended questions provides room to brain storm and chances to get more answers and solutions to the question.

With high EQ you can move people to move mountains.  With just high IQ you will have to move the mountains by yourself.  

Group projects helps to become team players.

Repetition is the key.

Learning thru tactile is the best.  Solidifies the data with real world, hands on experience.

Staying calm is the key.  Just be an active listener.  No advice.  

The transition is slow but exciting.  I agree with Jose.  The infrastructure will not fully support modern teachings yet.
