Global/multicultural fluency is about respecting and valuing diverse cultures, experiences, and perspectives. I’ve learned that helping students build cultural awareness improves collaboration and prepares them for diverse work environments.

Career management is about helping students take ownership of their career paths by setting SMART goals, understanding their strengths, and exploring options. I’ve learned it’s important to encourage self-assessment and expose students to real-world career tools early on.

Professionalism and work ethic are essential career readiness skills that include being reliable, respectful, and accountable. I’ve learned that modeling these behaviors in the classroom—such as meeting deadlines, wearing appropriate attire, showing up prepared, and communicating clearly can help set expectations for students.

Leadership involves influence, learning from failure, and embracing diverse perspectives. I’ll use group work, advisor feedback, and reflection to help students grow.

Career readiness means combining technical skills with teamwork, communication, and real-world tasks. I’ll use IT, projects, industry tools, and guest speakers to prepare students.  The use of technology is so advantageous as well as understanding how important it is to learn hard and soft skills.

Teamwork is key for career success and involves communication and respect. I plan to use group activities that promote listening and cooperation.  I liked the suggested square box blindfolded team building exercises idea.  I will definitely use that.

I learned that critical thinking helps students analyze and solve problems effectively. I’ll apply this by using simple strategies like open-ended questions and problem-solving frameworks in class.  I will also apply the KWL (Know, Want to know, Learned) method.

I learned that sustainability in a school-based enterprise means creating a business that can last over time through planning, teamwork, and consistent effort. I plan to apply this by focusing on long-term goals, training others, and keeping the business organized and student-driven.

Student-based enterprises develop learners by teaching practical and soft skills. I plan to apply this by encouraging teamwork and reflection to help everyone grow.  It’s ok to fail, embrace failures as we learn more from them.

Implementation is about putting the business plan into action and managing daily operations. I plan to apply this by staying organized and working closely with my team of students.  Evaluating, communicating, collaborating in a creative positive environment.
