I never design questions to trip up my students.   Sometimes during a quiz a student may ask..."is this a trick question".  My response is always..." it may be a tricky question but it's not a trick question". So, I don't think tests should be given again....unless.....there has been a break down of the learning process. An example would be that the highest grade was a 70.  Then you would need to re-lecture using difference learn modes or teaching statigies to better communicate the topic. Then re-test them.

	<div class="river_content_display">When I have time to review previous lectures or for reviewing for a quiz, I will have each student in the class create a quiz question (from the current subject)in their head and ask the rest of the class the question.  I think looking at the topics from a different view points helps a student broaden their understanding of the topic and enables them to apply the newly acquired information in a small but meaningful way.  I will try not to go on to the new topics until everyone in class has come up with a good question.</div>					<!-- </p> -->

	<div class="river_content_display">When I have time to review previous lectures or for reviewing for a quiz, I will have each student in the class create a quiz question (from the current subject)in their head and ask the rest of the class the question.  I think looking at the topics from a different view points helps a student broaden their understanding of the topic and enables them to apply the newly acquired information in a small but meaningful way.  I will try not to go on to the new topics until everyone in class has come up with a good question.</div>					<!-- </p> -->
