I learned as a new instructor how important it is to include technology and fun in the classroom. There are so many websites and apps that are available to help. 

Having a plan and using it to stay on track helps everyone, it also keeps you focused and reduces the stress of not knowing. Great examples were given and I will use them.

I have learned so much on this module. I do like having the students involved in a poll at the end to see what they learned. 

Safety is first, teachers have to make sure the students are always safe. They need to reinforce it as well, videos and or posters seem to help remind the student of the dangers of not being safe. 

I learned that building a relationship with your students with respect is a must. I believe that it will build their confidence and they will give you respect in return. 

Having a mentor will help you, especially in the first years of teaching. Having an Advisory Committee will also help and let everyone come together with new ideas and support for the programs. 

The video is a great reminder that you have to be professional, always. Also, keep your work life and personal life separate. 

I learned that CTE is a great program for the students to do something they enjoy. Learning the skills with hands on learning would  get them into the career field they want sooner.
