I beleive a dead line is a dead line.  If online or on the ground, when an assignment is given and there is a deadline for sumbission of completed work, I would accept late submissions but with 10% deducted for each day the assignment is late. The assignemt can be handed in early, but it would not be fair to other studnet that use time managment to ensure thier work is handed in on time for the late work to receive the same grade. for final projects no late submissions should be accepted.

I do like the use of guest speakers. I use past graduates of my program as guest speakers as they can show how the courses in the program are necessary to achieving excellence. They can give real world examples, show the "walk in my footsteps" scenarios. My only concern with guest speakers in the field is when and if the question of salary comes up. I prep my speakers that if this does come up to reply something like this... "each site is different" "getting experience under your belt is most important" "you need to prove yourself" You are training… >>>

I had two students that became friends. Both worked besides going to school. I gave a weekend homework assignment to the class due on Monday. When I collected the homework and was reading it to grade it I found that I had read that exact essay answer earlier. So i looked thru the pile of papers and i found it was the two girls mentioned above.
