I've learned the importance of debriefing. Also simulations and games are a great way to keep the class motivated.

I've learned different methods on how to engage and present the classroom for optimal learning and retention of information, by using colors , music, and the seating arrangements. Also that information is easier to absorb when the atmosphere is positive and the brain waves are in alpha and beta modes By utilizing the above techniques I can accomplish this goal.

I've learned how being a facilitator rather than a teacher is beneficial and more efficient in the learning process for the students. Also how positivity is a key factor in how the class receives the information and should lead to better results in the retention of the information.

Understand and incorporate different learning styles. The importance of planning and devising an efficient lesson plan. Different approaches to conducting an efficient and productive lecture. How to engage students with each other and myself.

The importance of setting a supportive and comfortable environment on the first day. Tools on how to remember the names of the students and how to get them to know each other.

Information on how to develop a syllabus. The importance of writing clear goals and objectives. Have a checklist for tasks to be accomplished so no instructional information is missed. Have a positive attitude and be prepared for class to start on time.

The importance of developing my own style of teaching that is professional and creative. I've learned ways to create a relationship with students based on mutual respect and support. Utilization of past experiences and knowledge to create a style of teaching that produces maximum learning potential. Be a confident leader and manager by being prepared for class by knowing the subject and classroom and also admitting my mistakes and learning from them.
