You just can't post a presentation on a Learning Management System and expect students to take notes and that's it. you have to transform the total process in order to see students be successful!

The only way individuals learn and improve is through an evaluation process whether it be students or teachers!

Having different ways to communicate to students within the Learning Management System is important whether synchronous or asynchronous. 

Scaffolding just like in construction applications allows Learners to hang out far above their normal learning activities for an exrended period of time!

I have found that consistency in framework and information goes a long way towards student sucess.

 

There will be many more distractions for the online Learner, so it is the instructor's responsibility to reach out to each student in an effort to persuade them that education is the one equalizer!

Participation whether it is a Synchronous or Asynchronous meeting is the truest way to assess content knowledge!

Transitioning to Online only Learning in the middle of the Semester is a little different than starting off with a class online but getting to know your students and developing that professional relationship goes a long ways toward student achievement!

Online structure and content delivery,can be just as important as the content itself to help students be successful!
