Would anyone have suggestions or ideas of how to effectively make recommendations to students who are always working behind & not meeting the deadlines? (particularly when there are assignment due dates & deadlines)

I also use open ended questions and sometimes the students will ask me for my input I sometimes feel its to make the instructor continue talking so then I use close ended answers and redirect them where I want the discussion to go.

It is truly amazing to find so much help and different new avenues to use during our course preparation.  I did get a lot of new ideas in preparing the syllabus and class course.

Being mindful of the various possible types of disabilities and ways to effectivley get all the information equally presented for all needs.

I have known for years that the number of disabled students was growing, however the numbers took me by surprise.  I was also aware that with the GI Bill allowing former military personal to go back to school and further their education.  Some of theses students have PTSD or require new means of adapting to being in a classroom.  We need to be prepared for 3 specific definitions in the area of disabilities.  The Check list and bold text will help to.

Having the most descriptive and straight forward syllabus allows students to be confident and understanding every step of the way during the course.

The importance of course content consistancy and modular consistancy is so important to facilitate student learning.
