Preparation and clear expectations have been key to creating a positive learning environment. Building rapport early helps students feel comfortable and engaged.

One challenge is managing different learning styles, but using brief teaching moments and real-life examples helps.

Instructional theories guide how we teach and how students learn. Using strategies like differentiated instruction, clear communication, and active learning helps engage diverse learners. Focusing on students as individuals and using different teaching methods improves understanding and overall success in the classroom.

Supporting diverse students means recognizing that each learner is unique. Creating an inclusive, respectful environment helps students feel valued and engaged. Using different teaching methods and clear communication supports all learning styles, especially for ESL/ELL students. Treating students as individuals and using varied assessment methods helps ensure everyone has the opportunity to succeed.

Training is effective when applied in practice. I will use what I’ve learned to support student engagement, confidence, and success.

In this training, I learned the importance of Title IX and VAWA regulations in creating a safe and respectful learning environment. I gained a better understanding of how to recognize, respond to, and report incidents of sex-based harassment and violence, as well as the importance of providing support and resources to students.

In my role, I will apply this knowledge by promoting a safe and inclusive environment, responding appropriately to any concerns, and ensuring that students are aware of available resources and reporting options. I will also maintain professionalism, confidentiality, and follow institutional policies when addressing any situations.
