I have learnt about the guidelines towards effective asynchronous and synchronous discussions and how to successfully engage with the students in both settings. 

I have learnt that your presence in online classes in not very different from in-person classes and that you should always seek to engage with your students at the same level. The Course Management System plays a key role in this entire process and you should always be on top of it to maintain contact with the students in both asynchronous/synchronous manner. 

I have learnt how to set your students for success while attending online courses, and that your help as an instructor as well as the technical support are the tow most important factors for these students. This lesson also sets the skills an online instructor must have.
