I think I could use the white board more to make key points. 

I have been thinking about how to incorporate guest speakers into my class. This module helped motivate me to follow through on these ideas. 

I think I have done well getting some students motivated but I am still trying to build rapport with others. It can be so tough!

I have learned that I could improve how I help build the students working memory. 

I thought it was interesting that the student's self esteem plays such a large role in their success. I would like to learn more about how to support a student in building self esteem. 

I liked the advice to see the lab space through the eyes of the student. I have been trying to incorporate more items to make the students feel welcome. We have also been trying to modernize the space as well so the students feel like they are getting the best experience. 

I really like the close out statements. It gives a way to check clarity but also end the conversation politely or move the conversation forward while still making them feel heard and understood. 

I do think there can be a lot of miscommunication in online communication. People can misinterpret emotions behind messages. I think that clear and concise messages also help reduce confusion. 

With the growing popularity of online learning, all teachers should be preparing in this area. This sector will only continue to grow and get more complex. 

I know there is work to be done to improve climate at my campus. I see ways that I can use my real world experience to interact with the students to build a good working alliance.
