The best thing about teaching in the medical field is all of the learning styles can covered in a class or the lab.
I like topic of making sure students get the graded assignments in a good time. I can see how this can cause students to lose focus because they want to know how hey did on a test or quiz so they can be prepared for the next test or quiz.
Refocus:
Recognize, Empower, Focus, Objectivize, Commit, Unburden, and Surprise.
All of this helps not only the students but instructors as well.
I really enjoy taking this course. It's an eye opener for me, because I'm new to teaching in a class setting. I usually train in a hospital setting. My love for teaching brought me to Concorde. This course has taught me more ways to keep the students attention, to keep them focus and help them to set realistic goals. I will apply everything that I can to educated the student to be a success in their field of study.
What I take from this course will help me to relate to diverse students with different backgrounds and life experiences. I will be able to Identify the students needs, help students with impersonal problems, and be a support system for students.
