The framework for the value presentation was helpful: overall theme, attributes and benefits, points of difference, and program knowledge. I also liked the various worksheets to help identify and write down these points.
I thought it was interesting to learn the components of value as value = benefit - effort - risk - price.
I learned a lot about presenting financial options to students, and to acknowledge and not diminish concerns about tuition costs.
I really liked the part about helping students increase their resourcefulness, and create options for themselves. By identifying and adressing the students' challenges, we can help them find solutions.
I found the section on listening very helpful. Listening is a choice and you must listen with a clean slate and without judgment. This is so important in order to truly understand student needs.
The section regarding the steps to build an ethical enrollment process is very interesting, as well as the tips on how to ensure you are acting to the highest of ethical standards.
