During this training I learned the skills and tools needed to enhance my teaching style.

This helped me understand that having an adaptable and flexible classroom is essential not only for our very special vets but for all students in general.  Learning is not a one size fits all, each student is unique and each student deserves the most of their education.

Very helpful skills to learn for classroom management. Being able to reach and assist these group of students will help me as an intructor to have a cohesive and integrated classroom.

I have learned the importance of seeking out resource such as the VA to help me in further identifying the needs of my students and their transition into civilian life and education.  I have also learned to identify special needs such as PTSD, Isolation tendencies and triggers for our veteran students. This is going to greatly impact my teaching styles since it will assist me in accomodations in the classroom.

This course showed me the need to be diverse and quickly asses the needs of my students.  In the casse of veterans incorporating their Military service experience combined with classroom dinamics will aid in their transition in both education and civilian career.

This course was helpful as it increased my knowledge of criticial interpersonal skills essentials for me to be an effective and successful instructor.
