Confirm that, an employee understands and accepts a task before delegating it to them.

Provide necessary training, coaching, resources and support for delegated tasks.

Don't limit delegation to only preferred employees and avoid delegating unpleasant tasks as some form of punishment.

Everybody can practice and develop effective leadership skills.

Simple, but effective communication is what unites and motivates members of an organization. 

Continuous motivation for employees to buy into the vision of an organization is what brings change and movement. 

Employees can have styles that are analytical, amiable, expressive or drivers. All the styles have strengths and weaknesses.  As a supervisor or manager, it's important to understand how best to manage each employee. 

Be assertive, but do not trample over others nor let others trample over you. Participatory style of management results in a friendly work climate and better results in the long term.

Think clearly! The more logically one thinks, the less likely they take other people's word on issues as evidence of truth.

We are all creative! It's important to find a smaller issue to reason through within the larger problem.  Reason through a problem before making a final decision. 

To solve a problem effectively, one must define the problem and get to it's root cause first. Depend on facts and not assumptions. 

If done constructively, receiving and responding to feedback is mutually beneficial to both to the employee and the boss for growth and achievement of the organizational goals and objectives.
