Group activities are a great way to facilitate active learning and it also helps to develop critical thinking. 

Any lesson should have a rubric that helps guide the learner to be successful. 

Planning ahead of time and being prepared prior to any online learning will help to ensure that students will be active in their learning. 

Students that are engaged will be more successful, implementing fun activities will help to keep students engaged in learning. 

It is important for instructors to make sure that all students feel that they are important. Engaging with your students whether online or in the classroom is vital to retention. 

I already implement most of these things in the class however I was intrigued about giving pretests. 

Having a road map will help to keep both the instructor and the students on track 

I have learned to always be professional and come prepared.
