Make sure students have a sense of where they are going 

In this lesson  I have learned not to try and show my students that I am the smartest in the classroom, because there will always be someone smarter.  I will be dressing to reflect the field of study.  I will also not forget to practice the 5 C's.

have a plan to keep students engaged in their particular learning style

Greet the students, and tell them a little about myself and my experience in the field find out a little about them

need to be organized, and communicate the objectives, and goals of the class, have ideas to keep students engaged in learning

Be the example of a professional in the field to the student

I have learned that we need to lead by example, our students watch everything we do in the classroom.  Being prepared is a must, and being able to have patience is also a must.  I know that communication is key to the classroom, giving clear, descriptive expectations and how to achieve them is so important.
