This module has reinforced what I have been doing in my class is correct.
Everything that was done in this module I was already doing including using some of the resources, i.e. banzai, econedlink.org, Spent, Everfi, NGPF.
I teach this course and I use a mix of Technology and hands on exercises.
I definitely plan to use UDL this year. I loved the self determination theory and share the video with my students as I change my teaching practices and include more student voice.
I really like the idea of the daily check-in. I also LOVE that I can give my students the FREE myers-briggs personality test.
Barriers hinder students and their ability to learn.
The importance of both formative and summative assessments and that their is a time and place for both in the classroom.

All students learn differently and it is important to present the lesson in a way that will allow all students to be successful.

Career Ed Lounge is embedded in over eighty professional development portals serving the career and technical education community. Performance Groups in the Lounge are integrated with related learning opportunities offered on these portals. With a few exceptions, Performance Groups are also publicly available to any member of the Lounge to maximize peer-to-peer learning and performance outcomes.
