<p>The principle that a board's value is directly proportional to how actively you engage them. Our IAC grew from 14 to 40+ in a year, organized into four subcommittees. The course validated something I'd been sitting with: uneven engagement isn't a failure of recruitment-- t's a signal. The members doing real work are visible. So are the ones who only attend headline meetings. I'm leaning into that data instead of trying to flatten everyone back to equal.</p>
