Active instructors will implement different sorts of learning styles to appeal to their class of adult learners. 

There are different modes to learning. On each side of the brain, we tap into certain skillset which is governed either from the right or left side of the brain. 

Adult patients must be approached differently with the understanding that we do not use the same principles as with students. 

Adult learners usually have a motivation to going back to school which declines as they get older. 

I learned that constant, short updates and points of communication can set up students for success. 

Just learning about how to engage students and see the value of active learning was helpful.

Maintain an interactive approach with students.

Helping students stay on task is collaborative work. 

The goal would be to let my students feel open enough to have a social network on their LMS.
