I learned that a professional educator means continuous growth, ethical behavior, and putting students first. I plan to apply this by staying open to learning, working closely with colleagues, and maintaining high standards while setting boundaries.
I learned that CTE connects academic learning with real-world skills, helping students prepare for both college and careers. "High Quality CTE, and the 12 elements". These elements help students prepare for both college and careers. I plan to apply this by integrating more hands-on, career-focused activities and encouraging the students to explore CTE pathways that match their interests. CTE boosts engagement and supports diverse learners.

Career Ed Lounge is embedded in over eighty professional development portals serving the career and technical education community. Performance Groups in the Lounge are integrated with related learning opportunities offered on these portals. With a few exceptions, Performance Groups are also publicly available to any member of the Lounge to maximize peer-to-peer learning and performance outcomes.
