I noticed I usually default to asking quicker, more straightforward questions because it feels easier to manage time and keep the lesson on track. Going forward, I want to slow down a bit and give students more space to think and talk, even if it means covering slightly less content.

Effective questioning strategies include using a mix of question types, giving students wait time, and encouraging discussion through methods like think–pair–share. I plan to use these strategies to increase participation and deeper understanding in my classroom.

Different question types encourage engagement and critical thinking. I plan to use a variety of questions to promote deeper learning.

I learned that students with learning disabilities can succeed with the right support. I will apply this by being patient, inclusive, and understanding of different learning needs.

Diverse learners need different approaches to learning.  I will use a mix of teaching methods to support all students.

Student learning groups work best when they are structured with clear roles and expectations.  I will use defined roles and clear tasks to keep students engaged and accountable.

Clear communication is important for effective teaching. I learned to use simple language, check for understanding, and listen actively.  I will apply this by giving clear instructions, using examples, and making sure students understand before moving on.

I learned that effective course delivery involves presenting content clearly, keeping students engaged, and checking for understanding throughout the lesson. I plan to use interactive activities, real-world examples, and regular feedback to help learners stay involved and succeed.

I learned that the first day of class is important for setting expectations and building a positive learning environment.

I learned that strong planning and preparation are essential for effective teaching, especially when using clear objectives and aligned instruction.  I plan to apply this by writing clearer objectives and better organizing my lessons and materials ahead of time.
