Each employee whatever their role can substantiate or undermine a culture of compliance

Non-compliance can cause problems for the school but most importantly can erode the student's trust in the school, the profession and the educational process, resulting in that student giving up their career goals.

It is important to make sure all faculty and staff do not, intentional or unintentional, commit misrepresentation

Any opinion I give about our school and our programs should be based in fact

It is important to explain to students about articulation/transferability of course credits from one institution to another because students are often confused about whether courses from vocational schools will transfer to a regionally accredited institution

In order to admInister Title IV funds the school must be eligible, must be accredited by an agency recognized by the USDE

Creating a culture of compliance will help ensure that all faculty and staff are committed to honoring the school's mission, upholding our core values, being transparent and earning trust from our students, those in the workforce who employ our graduates, and the national professional community.

Start with current budget and build out a yearly budget for the next 5 years to accommodate planned growth and needs to support that growth

I like the idea of asking other employees to develop org charts and see how they compare with our official one.  It would also help to have some guidelines about writing job descriptions which are often too comprehensive, generalized, and all-encompassing to be meaningful

Student services are important from the time the student enrolls until they graduate and enter the workforce.
