I would like to try the flipped classroom for my upcoming class next term. I try to incorporate more student interaction during class to make the class more engaging. I love the idea of incorporating more technology into the classroom. I believe the introduction of online resources will only add to the educational experience in the classroom. I plan on researching more on the flipped classroom so it will be a successful transition from traditional to the flipped classroom.

This training session will be beneficial to class planning for the classes I teach as I have a diverse population including Gen Y students. This training gave me guidance and direction on how to better engage students in being accountable for learning. Because I learned of their general characteristics, I am better able to adapt my style of teaching to suit their learning needs. I am grateful that the dangers of using technology in the classroom was addressed and that potential solutions were given. I am a digital immigrant in that I am trying to embrace technology and utilize it in the classroom. This training made me determined to become more technology savvy so that I can be credible when introducing it into the classroom.

After completing this training, I understand the importance of utilizing technology in the classroom and I am now aware of the dangers of using technology. I am going to ensure that I can properly use the technology before utiliizing it in front of the class.

This information is invaluable to me as an instructor especially because I have many GEN Y students and I want to make sure I can reach them so that learning is successful. This training gave me insight into all the generations and how I couldrelate to a diverse classroom and this knowledge will let me address the student population appropriately and effectively. Understanding and awareness are two key components to relating to a diverse student population.

My training was also beneficial. Here at our school, professional skills need more of a focus than the technical skills for students.

After finishing the training on professional skills, I would advise any professional to revisit this training as a way of reminding us how important these skills are especially as the market is so volatile.

This was also an excellent refresher for me to evaluate my professional skills and possibly consider taking more computer courses to keep my technical skills more current and even enhance the knowledge I already possess.

I found the training on professional skills to be valuable. I teach a Career Management class and found the material very relevant! In fact, I plan to share some of the points made in the training to re-enforce what I have been teaching!

Professional skills are stressed even more so than technical skills. In a job market where so much more is done with less staff, team-oriented, adaptable individuals with exceptional interpersonal skills are in demand.
